Inspired by the mythical dragon and dragon dance, as the dragon embarks on a quest to search for their pearl — a quest mirrored by alpine athletes and artists alike, as they search for health, wisdom, opportunities, and growth. Together with Arc’teryx Athlete He Chuan (River) and Netherlands Dance Theatre and acclaimed Chinese dancer Wu Meng-Ke, we have reinterpreted the dragon’s quest as a way to ring the Year of the Dragon.
