Sometimes it takes a too many years before you actually dump a bunch of fun film photos on your website. Here is a little photo essay of my time at The 34th Legendary Baker Banked Slalom with my Burton Snowboards Familly.

Pandemic Scrapbooking
It’s funny to think that this particular piece of mixed media was created thinking that all this pandemic was going to be is a 2 week break from work with a return to normal. A year and few months into it; I rediscovered some of the fun we had early into it and what we did to kill time as everything was super unknown.

100 frames of summer
Shot on Fujifilm Instax wide, 7 of them to be exact.
Pemberton on Instax
The doc had asked me to “chill” on this specific sunny Friday of mid August after a crash in the bike park. Being forced to slow down is never an easy task for me, and I swear, Pemberton just has this automatic soothing effect on me.
A nice morning for the soul, walking through sunflower fields.

Sweet Summer

Coffee scribbles. Thinking about sweet summer.
Russet Lake on Instax
A long hike, some good company and the panoramic views made for our camp trip to Russet Lake be one I won’t forget. Carrying the extra weight of my plastic camera and film in my backpack was worth all of the gold that was captured on our adventure.

We are so lucky to live in Beautiful British Columbia.

There’s special places that become even more special when visited with the right people.

Shot on instax wide, as always.
Always go
Do you ever feel the urge to just go? That’s what happened to me last week; with a few days off in a row, I felt like it would’ve been rude not to pack up my car with everything I thought could be useful for a few days spent seaside. I was not disappointed.

Baja days
The Saudan Couloir Extreme race
The Saudan Couloir Extreme Race took place down 2,500 feet of thigh burning hell last weekend.
The legendary Whistler alpine skiing race was at its first edition welcoming snowboarders on course.
The couloir race had been a goal if mine for a while, and it was such a treat to win the event, at home, with friends on such a legendary course.
