Some summer snowboarding on the Horstman glacier in July, my best friends and a wild wild banked slalom course; everything was in place to make the Baked Salmon 4.5 one for the books.

Do you ever feel the urge to just go? That’s what happened to me last week; with a few days off in a row, I felt like it would’ve been rude not to pack up my car with everything I thought could be useful for a few days spent seaside. I was not disappointed.

The Saudan Couloir Extreme Race took place down 2,500 feet of thigh burning hell last weekend.
The legendary Whistler alpine skiing race was at its first edition welcoming snowboarders on course.
The couloir race had been a goal if mine for a while, and it was such a treat to win the event, at home, with friends on such a legendary course.


It’s always so fun to snowboard with a group of girls and I can’t thank Burton enough for facilitating a day every winter dedicated to badass ladies.
